Table restorations
Tables, after chairs, are probably the items I most frequently restore. These pictures show some examples of tables in the process of restoration.
A job often requires a deceptive amount of work to be done to a high standard. For example, if joints are loose I may need to take tables apart to remake the joints, sometimes undoing previous bodge jobs done with glue or nails! I am able to copy and carve or turn, then splice and finish, legs and feet as well as repair hinges and other moving parts. I will always agree with a customer the extent to which they want an item restored.
